Origin

App Analytics grew out of desk work near Yeouido where exchange exports routinely disagreed with what traders knew about their own fills. Average-cost summaries hid overlapping lots; wallet transfers reset cost basis without anyone noticing until filing season. We started reconstructing books lot by lot for colleagues, then for nearby desks that needed the same discipline.

What we do

We specialize in tax-lot performance analysis for high-volume cryptocurrency traders. That means rebuilding acquisition lots, matching dispositions with clear rules, and attributing realized results in language a tax adviser can use. Crypto Portfolio Desktop — available from Microsoft Store — helps clients keep ongoing lot records between engagements; our reviews remain human-led reconstructions, not automated statements.
