This policy applies to paid analysis engagements with App Analytics (Tax-Lot Performance Review, Transfer & Wallet Reconciliation, Year-End Lot Schedule, and scoped variants). It does not apply to third-party Microsoft Store transactions for Crypto Portfolio Desktop; those follow Microsoft’s terms.
Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how far work has progressed and whether client materials were delivered as agreed. Informational website content is free and not refundable.
Cancellation before work starts
If you cancel in writing before we begin rebuild work and before the deposit is applied to calendar hold beyond five business days, we refund the deposit in full within fourteen business days using the original payment method where possible.
If you cancel after the deposit has reserved a calendar slot for more than five business days but before rebuild starts, we may retain up to 20% of the deposit for scheduling costs and refund the remainder.
Partial refunds after work begins
Once intake materials are in process:
- If we cannot proceed because required exports were never provided within the agreed window, the deposit is non-refundable; unused balance invoices are cancelled.
- If you cancel mid-engagement, you owe fees for work completed (intake, partial rebuild, sessions held). We refund any prepaid amount above that completed work, documented in a short settlement note.
- If App Analytics cancels for reasons other than client breach or missing materials, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for undelivered work.
Non-refundable items
- Completed findings memos, lot schedules, and walkthrough sessions already delivered
- Third-party data fees expressly approved by you in writing
- Time spent on materials that were corrupted, incomplete, or replaced late by the client after rebuild began
Rescheduling
You may reschedule a walkthrough once without fee if you give at least three business days’ notice. Later notice or repeated reschedules may incur a rescheduling fee stated in the engagement letter.
No-shows
If you miss a scheduled walkthrough without notice, that session is marked delivered for fee purposes. A replacement session may be booked at an additional fee.
Work already started
“Started” means we have opened your exports and begun lot assembly or transfer mapping. Aesthetic dissatisfaction with formatting alone is not grounds for a full refund if the agreed scope was met.
Refund process and timing
Email contact@appanalytics.digital with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days via the original wire or payment path when available.
Deposits
The standard 40% deposit binds the schedule. Deposit treatment follows the cancellation rules above.
